Hi, I’ve been a very busy girl this last week moving craft stuff around, rearranging and getting a little bit excited! I no longer have a paper craft space at home it’s gone and made way for my sewing room. No I’ve not given up my beloved stamping, paper crafting it’s just got a new home. Keep watching this space for more information over the next week ……… As Our Creative Den begins to take shape in the beautiful Calder Valley, sooo excited! The pictures attached are my old craft space before and after, no doubt I will fill it up a bit more! Happy Crafting 😄

Hi, well the weekend is nearly upon us again so I thought I’d share a birthday card I made for a special persons birthday last week. I love these colours gentle and pretty without being super girlie and a matching box too. I used two new items from the SU Spring catalogue Botanical Builder Framelits dies and Timeless Textures stamp set. Hope you have a great day 😊
Hi, hope you are all well and getting into the festive spirit. Today’s cards are made using the cute stamp set containing the penguins and snowmen. The set is great for children and has lots of scope to be creative with. I really enjoyed playing with this set from Stampin Up. Hope you enjoy looking at them too 😊
I love making gift boxes of all shapes and sizes. These cuties are 2.5″ square by 1.5″ high and would be perfect for jewellery, small soaps, tea lights and even Moonstruck Mineral Pigment Powders by Younique! Hmm think I will start making gift boxes for those ladies who purchase Younique items from me. Pretty boxes and fab make up items = Winner!
Hi, sorry I’ve been a bit quiet, that thing called work got in the way again, late home 3 nights this week but managed to make this cute tray style gift box tonight. Thanks again to craftycarolinecreates for her ideas. I used SU Cardstock in Tempting Turquoise & Whisper White. Ink is also Tempting Turquoise and a touch of Memento Black ink, the stamp I used is from the set Beautiful Bunch available in the new Annual Catalogue. Hope you all enjoy the weekend and let’s hope for some sun ☀️🌞. I’m going South this weekend to see my littlies Happy Crafting x
Monday yet again, these weeks just fly by, almost the end of June, when are we going to get some sun? Today’s project is my take on “The Hallett” bag, don’t look too closely there’s one or two imperfections which needs adjustment! It’s a good sized bag and fits plenty inside. It’s made using Smokey Grey DSP from the Naturals paper stack and antique brads both available in the new annual catalogue. You can also browse these items at my online shop http://elainebaines.stampinup.net
Hi it’s Father’s Day and Summer Solstice today a time for reflection. I look forward to Summer – in whatever form it chooses to arrive, please let there be sun and warmth included!! As for Father’s Day hope all you Dads’ have a good day with your children and enjoy some of those very special times. Today’s project is a 3D Thank you card I’ve been asked to make, no brief just asked to make something special! It comes with it’s own matching box and measures 6″x6″. I used Stampin Up products from the latest catalogue Soft Sky card stock, DSP from the Cherry on Top stack and the stamps are from Butterfly Basics, inks used are Soft Sky and Sahara Sand and Jute Ribbon. Hope you like it as much as I have enjoyed making it Happy Crafting xx
I’m fed up of this cough! It suddenly appeared Thursday evening and it’s doing my head in, I sound like I’m on 40 a day – I don’t smoke and never have. So Saturday has been a PJ day for me, catching up on TV and doing some crafting. The flowers are made using some now retired Stampin Up DSP and crystal embellishments. I love making these flowers they are stunning. Enjoy what’s left of Saturday 😉
