What, no craft space!

Hi, I’ve been a very busy girl this last week moving craft stuff around, rearranging and getting a little bit excited! I no longer have a paper craft space at home it’s gone and made way for my sewing room. No I’ve not given up my beloved stamping, paper crafting it’s just got a new home. Keep watching this space for more information over the next week ……… As Our Creative Den begins to take shape in the beautiful Calder Valley, sooo excited! The pictures attached are my old craft space before and after, no doubt I will fill it up a bit more! Happy Crafting 😄

Wednesday wonder

Hi, today’s project is a commissioned wedding congratulations card for a lady who attends our quilting group. She is Asian and I tried to combine traditional colours with a quilting theme. The papers used are from Love Blossoms stack and the punch used is the mosaic punch both from Stamping Up. Happy crafting 😊image

Throwback Tuesday

Hi, just a quick post today I thought I’d revisit a box I made last year I really like the shape of this and it’s easy to make. It’s cased from the talented Linda Parker I love her boxes! The card stock I used is Mossy Meadow one of the in-colours which will leave us this year and teamed up with Very Vanilla and Pacific Point and the daisies from Grateful Bunch stamp set. Hope your day is going well, happy crafting 😊 www.elainebaines.stampinup.netimage

Look back Tuesday

Hi, today I decided to revisit some of the stamp sets from Stampin Up’s annual catalogue. With all the new seasonal sets at Christmas and now those in the Spring catalogue as well as SAB we tend to overlook those fabulous items that are in the annual catalogue. So today’s project I made using the Mini Treatbag Thinlits die, Butterfly Basics & Hardwood stamp sets and the Flower Medallion punch. The edges I sponged using Crumb Cake ink to give it a more vintage feel. If you would like to look at any items by Stampin Up please go to my online store at http://www.elainebaines.stampinup.net or message me for more information. Happy Crafting 😊image

Kusadami Flowers

Beautiful bright sunshine today, but a nip in the air here in Yorkshire. It’s days like today that make you realise Spring is around the corner, well maybe a long walk to the corner but non the less it’s in sight (always the ever optimist).  So with thoughts of spring brings the notion of  flowers and today’s project is Kusadami flowers made into spheres and ready to hang to brighten up a room. I love making these flowers which are not difficult to make but making them into spheres is a bit fiddley and involved glue gun and trails of glue fibers everywhere! The large flower head was made using 12×12 DSP from Stampin Up and looks stunning just sat in the window sill. Happy crafting 😄

Festive Friday

Hi, hope you like today’s selection of Christmas cards made using the Festive Flurry stamp set and The Joy of Christmas from Stampin  Up!  Of course a teeny bit of Santa punch art has snook in, this one has a few bits of bling added to add to the festive feel. If you would like to browse my online Stampin Up store or you would like to buy any of the items used to create any of the cards I have showcased this week please click on the link http://www.http//elainebaines.stampinup.net imageimage

Let it Snow! Please don’t!

Hi, hope you are all well and getting into the festive spirit. Today’s cards are made using the cute stamp set containing the penguins and snowmen. The set is great for children and has lots of scope to be creative with. I really enjoyed playing with this set from Stampin Up. Hope you enjoy looking at them too 😊imageimage
