Using my stash

imageHi, been in the craft space a lot this weekend as the weather has been far from good! Today’s project is a small 2″ square cube box with a lid, a band and bow made using birthday DSP and the Bow Builder Punch from Stampin Up. The card stock used to make this box is the 12 x 12 Kraft card which is thicker than the normal card stock and makes perfect sturdy boxes. You can see these items and so much more at my Stampin Up online store http://www.elainebaines.stampinup.net  Happy Crafting and keep warm 😊

Project Life

Hi, I had a very productive craft day yesterday making items for workshops including this Project Life page. Project Life is a great way of getting those photographs of your mobile phone, iPad etc. and getting them seen, saved and memories recorded. It’s a quick version of scrapbooking and can be as ornate or not, it’s just up to you. I will be offering Project Life workshops soon, so if you’re interested in having a go just keep an eye on this space. Happy Crafting 😊image

It’s GREAT

Hi, I’ve used my MISTI today and it’s GREAT made so much difference to putting a name on a picture and soooooo much more! I will pos the full picture tomorrow as I will have given it to its new owner tomorrow. I need to get on with completing my swaps for Telford on Saturday, packing my bag and organising myself Happy Crafting 😊image

#imbringingbirthdaysback

Hi, Stampin Up have just released a new stamp #imbringingbirthdaysback as part of the move toward getting people to send handmade cards rather than Facebook messages or e- cards.  Have you every received or sent a handmade card? Would you like to receive a handmade card that you can send out to a member of your family or friends? For a limited period of one week starting from Monday 18th April until Sunday 24th April (inc) I will send you a handmade card so you can see the quality of Stampin Up products and the professional look you get from these products. All you have to do is like my Laineybcrafts Facebook page (it must be the page you like not the post) and send me your address so I can send you your free handmade card. If you already like my page just send me your address. Only one card per household please. If you would like to learn how to make your own cards, let me know as I will be arranging workshops in Calderdale in the coming weeks. The cards I send out will be of my choosing – no special request, sorry. Happy Crafting 😊

Sale-a-bration stamp set

Hi, i can hear you thinking she’s already posted something today – but I thought I would show you a card made with an SAB stamp set this card is a stamping direct to card project, no layering, no glitter, no dimension, simply ink and stamping. The blue sky is gentle daubing and the images are The Flowering Fields stamp set which is available as a free Sale-a-bration item and will sadly no longer be available as from midnight tonight when SAB ends. The images where made using the Stampin Write markers. I love this stamp set I wish SU had made this one for the new annual catalogue! You can still get this set free if you place an order today by going to my online store http://www.elainebaines.stampinup.net      imageHappy Crafting 😊

Thank you Thursday

Hi, it’s a few days since I posted any projects so I thought I’d better get something on here. Today’s project is a selection of Thank you cards made using the World of Thanks stamp. I used a selection of bright colours to make the image stand out and teamed it with layering. A quick and easy project. On one of the cards I used glitter and the pastel multi colour I used the ‘resist’ technique. Off to do a bit of crafting and nattering with my friend KraftingK. Happy Crafting 😊

Gifts

imageHi, today’s project is a peek at some Easter gifts I made for family and friends. Thank you to Sam Donald of Pootles for the great packaging idea so easy and looks stunning. All products used are Stampin Up! including the Sky is the Limit Sale-a-bration stamp set. Happy crafting 😊

Flowers for Friday

Hi, I’ve had this jar for at least 2 years and never got round to doing”something” with it. Then suddenly an idea shot into my head, well ambled! This is the idea in its completed form, it looks pretty and was a great way of getting rid of card stock scraps and improving my flower making skills. I used the SU punches to make the flowers the large flower is made using the Pansy Punch (130698 – £14.50) and the small flower is made using the flower from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack  (133787 – £15.50 for set of 3). The leaves are from the Bird Builder Punch (177191 – £16.00). So many home decor items you can make with paper, it’s not just cards! Happy crafting 😊
