Quick and easy gift

Hi, as I promised here is the completed picture I made with the help of my new Misti. It was very quick and easy to make and a great way of capturing your little ones latest obsession without too much cost. The stamp set used is No Bones about It and you can view this and other Stampin Up items at my online store http://www.elainebaines.stampinup.net  By the time this is posted I will be heading to Telford ready for Stampin Up Onstage and the opportunity to meet other Stampin Up demo’s and see some of the new products 😀 Have a lovely weekend and Happy Crafting 😊image

Hi, I’ve used my MISTI today and it’s GREAT made so much difference to putting a name on a picture and soooooo much more! I will pos the full picture tomorrow as I will have given it to its new owner tomorrow. I need to get on with completing my swaps for Telford on Saturday, packing my bag and organising myself Happy Crafting 😊image

Miniature Birdhouse

Hi, I decided to have a bit of a play about with a small wooden birdhouse I bought a few weeks ago. It measures approx 7.5 x 6 x 3 cm and I covered it with Stampin Up English Garden DSP and one or two flowers using the punches and the small bird stamp from Everything Eleanor stamp set. I think it’s quiet cute and looks lovely sitting amongst my makes. Happy Crafting 😊   Want to purchase items or look at Stampin Up products then go to my online store http://www.elainebaines.stampinup.net

Spring Sunday

Hi, been a busy week in the craft space making swaps for Stampin Up On Stage at Telford next Saturday. I can’t show you my swaps just yet as I want to keep them a secret and part of them I’m not quite sure what to put in them at present! Today after  finishing my swaps I thought I’d make a gift for a special little someone I will see next week to put in her bedroom. I just love making these home decor items it’s amazing how different they look with a change of colour. I used Mint Macaroon cardstock and the beautiful English Garden DSP. If you would like to purchase one in the colour of your choice I charge £15 inc p&p private message me if you would like to order one. Hope you are having a lovely Sunday Happy Crafting 😊image

Botanical Blooms

Hi, lovely afternoon the sun is shinning and all feels well with the world. Mr Darcy is still sunning himself, he managed a quick wash but now he’s back to sleep by my feet. Today’s project is inspired by the sun and the idea of flowers blooming in the gardens very soon. The basket is one of a set of 3, I bought at Ikea a few weeks ago, I have used the middle sized basket. Cajun Craze, Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow card stock and inks were used all from Stampin Up. Watch this space to see what I do with the other 2 baskets!  Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, Happy Crafting 😊image

Flowers for Friday

Hi, I’ve had this jar for at least 2 years and never got round to doing”something” with it. Then suddenly an idea shot into my head, well ambled! This is the idea in its completed form, it looks pretty and was a great way of getting rid of card stock scraps and improving my flower making skills. I used the SU punches to make the flowers the large flower is made using the Pansy Punch (130698 – £14.50) and the small flower is made using the flower from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack  (133787 – £15.50 for set of 3). The leaves are from the Bird Builder Punch (177191 – £16.00). So many home decor items you can make with paper, it’s not just cards! Happy crafting 😊

Shabby Chic Sunday

Hi, busy day today I’ve been sewing two baby quilts, completing crochet & knitting items and then I fancied a spell in the craft space, must be spring in the air! The hardware I used in this project has been sitting in my workroom for weeks so today I decided to get to grips with it. I do love a bit of shabby chic, the products used in making this wall hanging are all Stamping Up the sentiment comes from the Perfect Pennants stamp set and says “Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful” which is so true. I really enjoyed making this and I’m sure I will be making more which I will display on my Facebook page and they will be for sale, so if this is the kind of thing you like keep an eye on my page. Time to think about what’s for dinner then a nice relaxing evening crocheting – a baby blanket in cotton in blue’s that will be for sale too! Happy Crafting 😊
